Hernan Jourdan

Out & About

Hernan Jourdan has received training as an actor in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina (EMAD, EMBA) and as a recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Education of Japan he completed his studies in Filmmaking in the School Of Tokyo Visual Arts.

He has worked as a freelance producer with Panasonic Ltd., NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), the department of Art, Culture + Tourism of Providence (RI) to organize the music and art public festival PVDFest 2017, and he has also developed his own artistic practice as a visual and theater artist.

He has directed an independent feature film called "Luna De Humo" (premiered at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2008); written the script for the Soccer World Cup documentary "Four Guys, No Balls" in 2011 (officially selected for the film festivals of NPOTI Japan, Lewiston USA, and Marbella Spain); and directed a play for the Rhode Island Devising Theater Festival (October 2017). His work has been presented in several galleries across the cities of Boston (MA), Providence (RI), Charlotte (NC) and Vancouver, Canada.
